Feature

Give each teammate exactly the access they need

Not everyone who touches your screens should be able to change billing or delete a device. NoroCMS separates content, device, and billing access into four clear roles.

Quick answer

NoroCMS supports four team roles per organization: owner (billing and account control), admin (full device and content control plus team management), editor (content and schedules only), and viewer (read-only dashboards and reports), so access matches responsibility rather than being all-or-nothing.

Four roles, not one shared login

A shared login for the whole team means everyone has the same level of access, which is fine right up until someone who only needed to upload a new poster accidentally retires a device or changes a schedule they did not fully understand. NoroCMS separates that out: an owner manages billing and can transfer or delete the organization; an admin manages devices, content, schedules, and team membership; an editor manages media, playlists, campaigns, and schedules but cannot touch devices, billing, or team membership; a viewer gets read-only access to dashboards, fleet health, and reports.

Inviting your team

Invitations go out by email from the dashboard, and a person can be re-invited with a different role at any time if their responsibilities change. A single person can also belong to more than one organization at different access levels, which matters for agencies or franchise setups managing several clients or locations through the same account.

Why this matters for a growing screen network

As a fleet grows past a handful of screens, the people who create content are usually not the same people who should be able to reboot a device or see the invoice. Getting that separation right from day one avoids a much harder cleanup later, and it is one of the first things worth setting up alongside your plan.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an admin and an editor?
An admin has full control including devices, billing visibility, and team management. An editor can manage media, playlists, campaigns, and schedules, but cannot touch devices, billing, or team membership.
Can one person have different roles in different organizations?
Yes. Role assignment is per organization, so an agency or franchise operator managing multiple accounts can hold different access levels in each one.
Can a viewer accidentally change something?
No. Viewer access is strictly read-only across dashboards, fleet health, and reports.
How do I remove someone from my team?
An owner or admin can remove a team member from the dashboard at any time, which immediately revokes their access to that organization.
