What hardware do I need?

Any Android-powered display device: LED display controllers, Android TVs and set-top boxes, signage panels, or tablets running Android 10 and above. Install the NoroCMS player app, and the device shows a pairing code — that’s it.

How do I connect a new screen?

Install the player app on the device. It displays a short 6-character code on screen. Type that code into the dashboard when registering the device, and it provisions itself automatically within seconds — no cables, no USB debugging, no technician visit.

What happens if a screen loses internet?

Nothing visible. All content is downloaded and cached on the device ahead of time, so playback continues uninterrupted. When the connection returns, the screen syncs any new content and uploads its play history automatically.

What media formats are supported?

Videos (MP4 and other common containers) and still images (JPG, PNG). Images get a configurable on-screen duration; videos play their natural length. Mixed playlists of video and images work out of the box.

How fast do content changes reach my screens?

Within a few minutes. When you change a playlist or schedule, every screen that content targets is notified to re-sync automatically — you never have to touch the device.

Can I control who on my team can do what?

Yes. Role-based access built in: owners manage billing and the organization, admins manage screens and teams, editors manage content and schedules, and viewers get read-only dashboards and reports.
