Signage software built around what actually breaks in the field
NoroCMS started from a simple observation: most digital signage problems are not content problems, they are reliability problems. A screen that plays the wrong thing is bad. A screen that goes black because the network hiccuped is worse.
NoroCMS is a digital signage content management system built around offline-first playback, zero-touch device pairing, and auditable proof-of-play reporting, for teams running screens across LED displays, Android TVs, signage panels, and tablets.
Why offline-first is the foundation, not a feature
A lot of signage software is built and demoed on a fast office Wi-Fi connection, then deployed onto a screen sitting on a shared retail network, a cellular connection, or a venue-managed network nobody on the signage team controls. NoroCMS is built assuming that connection will drop, sometimes often, and designed so playback never depends on it staying up. See offline playback for the full explanation.
Why proof of play is a first-class record
If a screen network is tied to any kind of billing, whether that is an advertiser paying for placement or a vendor sponsoring a promotion, "it was scheduled to play" is not the same claim as "it played." NoroCMS logs every play event on the device the instant it happens, not as an afterthought bolted onto a reporting dashboard later.
